Help us protect our planet with 4 simple actions

Taxo is committed to responsible and environmentally friendly vacations. It is urgent to act to preserve our planet and the future of our children. At our level, we can all make a difference and limit our impact on the environment, even on vacation! While each individual action is a drop in the bucket, together we can make a difference.

The entire Taxo team thanks you for your commitment and wishes you happy vacations!

1. Let’s sort the waste

On vacation, we let ourselves go (and that’s normal!) but we keep our good habits! Sorting bins are at your disposal at the entrance of the campsite for eco-responsible vacations!

Of course, the best thing to do is toavoid packaging and enjoy the delicious fruits and vegetables of our farmers.

2. Water is precious, let’s save it

A shower takes an average of 9 minutes and 100 liters of water. We shower with drinking water, a few minutes saved are liters of water saved! Think about it!

Also, don’t leave the tap water running when you brush your teeth. Less water in the sink means more water in the groundwater. In these times of drought, nature and plants thank you!

3. Don’t flush anything down the toilet

Your toilet is not a garbage can. If you throw anything in (wipes, tampons or sanitary napkins, etc.), it will all go into the sewage (if the sewers don’t get clogged first) and risk polluting our beautiful Mediterranean Sea.
So to continue to enjoy our beautiful Catalan beaches and swim in blue waters, we throw our waste in the trash!

4. Let’s have smart air conditioning

Air conditioning on, doors and windows closed!

When your air conditioning is on, remember to close the doors and windows of your mobile home.

Don’t push your air conditioner too hard.

It is recommended to respect a maximum difference of 7°C between the outside temperature and the temperature inside your mobile home. When it’s very hot outside, there’s no need to set your air conditioning to 16°C! It’s not good for your health or the environment.

Turn off your air conditioner when you leave your mobile home.

No need to leave the air conditioning on all day if you’re not there! When you return from the beach, take a few minutes to air out your home and turn on the air conditioning with the doors and windows closed.
