This year, Camping Taxo Les Pins is supporting the Argelès Nature Trail!
This must-attend annual event for nature running enthusiasts will take place on April 26 and 27, 2025, starting from Château de Valmy.
On Saturday, April 26, the day is dedicated to the youngest runners, with four free children’s races starting at 2:30 PM. Adults can participate in the “Saint Laurent” race, a 7 km run with 300 meters of elevation gain, starting at 5:00 PM. A 10 km Nordic walk and a 10 km nature hike are also scheduled in the morning, departing at 9:30 AM and 9:45 AM, respectively.
On Sunday, April 27, three races will be held:
- La Massane Trail: 24 km with 1,300 meters of elevation gain, starting at 8:30 AM.
- La Font Andreu: 15 km with 800 meters of elevation gain, starting at 9:30 AM.
- La Ronde de Valmy: 10 km with 250 meters of elevation gain, starting at 10:00 AM.
These courses give participants the chance to discover the picturesque trails of the Albères mountains, with breathtaking views of the region. Registrations are open, with fees ranging from €6 to €23, depending on the chosen race.
For trail-running enthusiasts looking for regular training, the Argelès Nature Trail club has been offering a dedicated section since September 2024, with two weekly training sessions and a weekend outing. The goal is to progress in a friendly and dynamic atmosphere.
